PHOTOGRAPHER IN ZIHUATANEJO

Along the coastline there are several  beaches each with its own characteristics.  Most shooting locations are situated just a 40 minute drive  from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo Airport.  Enjoy beautiful views of uninhabited palm tree forest, Sierra Madre mountains, and crystal clear ocean in a quiet and uncrowded area.

TRONCONES

An ocean-side village surrounded by a 3 mile stretch of beach with several rock formations scattered along the sand. Troncones offers an "off the beaten path" alternative for surfers and locals looking to enjoy some punchy waves.  Several tasty local restaurants, boutique hotels, and warm staff keep returning visitors feeling welcome and comfortable.

If you're  looking to gain some knowledge about the ecology and history of the area  then head to Costa Nativa. They host kayaking, mountain-cave-hiking, and birdwatching tours all year.

LA MAJAHUA

Majahua beach  is a remote spot located near a picturesque fishing village. Inhabited by many fisherman that migrated from small towns nearby Zihuatanejo due to the abundance of shellfish. Here you can find fresh "catch of the day" served by Mexican locals right over the beach. Tuna, lobster, and red snapper are among the most popular.  Take a siesta on a hammock next to the restaurants and listen to the waves and the wind as you feel time slow down.
